Home → Pharmacists → Scripted Announces First PMS Integration with Liberty RXQ
CHICAGO, IL — Today, Script Health PBC is making Scripted, the only all-in-one medical billing and clinical service solution for pharmacies of all sizes, even more convenient for pharmacists by launching a native integration into the Liberty RXQ pharmacy management system (PMS).
For pharmacies using Liberty RXQ to manage dispensing and patient services, key Scripted features like clinical service administration and management, appointment management, and synchronization of patient records will be available directly within the PMS interface they already use.
This PMS integration is the first of several planned integrations for Scripted. Similar integration into other widely used PMS systems is currently in development and planned for beta release to select Scripted pharmacists this year.
“Our pharmacies love using Scripted to expand the services they can offer to patients and access generous medical insurance reimbursement rates — but pharmacists have enough on their plates without juggling several software interfaces,” said Dr. James Lott, PharmD, MPP, CEO of Scripted.
“Our pharmacists advocated directly to Liberty on our behalf, and really accelerated the pace at which we’ve been able to launch these new integrations. We’re grateful to them for continuing to be the engine powering the Scripted movement.”
Currently, any pharmacy can take advantage of Scripted’s innovative web-based platform to offer up dozens of clinical services (such as point of care testing or specialty vaccines) and increase reimbursement rates by billing those services to medical insurance plans.
With this new integration, pharmacists won’t need to login to Scripted’s web-based platform to use these features, and will be able to use Scripted in the same interface they’re already familiar with.
Customers will benefit from improved practice efficiency, streamlined workflows, and enhanced patient management capabilities.
Integrating Scripted into Liberty incurs a low fee for each pharmacy. Pharmacies can also choose to continue to use the same features via the web interface at no additional cost.
